Kindly share with us the inception & growth of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School.
The association of Jaipuria Group of Industries with the education sector goes back to the year 1939. Seth Mungturam Jaipuria who was actively involved in the freedom struggle strongly believed that as and when India becomes independent, its citizens specially the youth, will have to be given opportunities for quality education. His vision culminated in the establishment of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Degree College in Kolkata in 1945 inaugurated by none other than Jawaharlal Nehru himself. In 1966, the foundation stone of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Kanpur was laid by Late Indira Gandhi; the then Prime Minister of India and was inaugurated by Dr. Fakrruddin Ali Ahmed, President of India in 1974. Thus began the journey of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School and it has been influencing the educational and cultural ethos of the city of Kanpur and has shaped the future of generations of students.
