- Citymax India joins hands with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor
Citymax India, an integrated hospitality company and part of the Dubai based Landmark Group, has obtained the master franchise rights of India’s leading Chef Sanjeev Kapoor for three of his restaurant brands, Khazana, The Yellow Chilli and Grain of Salt. As part of the Citymax-Sanjeev Kapoor partnership, the first The Yellow Chilli restaurant opened in Surat at the ISCON mall. The cities of Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi will see The Yellow Chilli restaurants opening in the next six months. Having officially launched the first ‘The Yellow Chilli’, Ravi Saxena, Managing Director of Citymax India, said Citymax believes in bringing the best offerings to its customers. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is known for his culinary expertise in Indian cuisine. In India, in spite of the presence of various international brands, Indian cuisine remains the preferred choice and will continue to remain so. He said that this partnership with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor aims to take Indian cuisine to the world in the form, style and panache it deserves. According to Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Partnering with Citymax meant reaching out to more people across the length and breadth of India and even abroad. The aim is to bring the best of the Indian cuisines to a larger population of discerning customers of all social strata. The Yellow Chilli restaurant boasts of two Private Dining Areas (PDA) and the live Tandoor kitchen. Each Private Dining Area offers complete privacy and exclusivity to families to dine and celebrate special occasions. The live Tandoor kitchen offers patrons an experience to enjoy the art of preparation of romali rotis, tandoori chicken and other tandoori dishes. To ensure customer satisfaction, the main kitchen has two separate sections and chefs - one for the preparation of vegetarian and the other for non vegetarian cuisine.
