New Delhi-based Claridges Hotels and Resorts is mulling over establishing its popular in-house Indian restaurant, Dhaba, as a standalone restaurant. The company is also considering extension of the brand to other Claridges properties. As per company officials, expansion of Dhaba will be done via franchising.
The company is looking at premium standalone restaurants for its brand. It presently contributes 15 per cent to the total F&B revenue of the chain. Another outlet of Dhaba will be opened at the Claridges’ Surajkund property in Delhi by July this year. By August, the group is likely to franchise the brand, Dhaba, in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and abroad.
