Cocoberry Restaurants & Distributors Pvt Ltd will shortly open its four frozen yogurt outlets in Lucknow, Chandigarh, Kanpur and the Maldives. The brand recently opened its first franchise Cocoberry store in Lucknow while it has already signed up for the second franchise outlet in the same location likely to be opened next week.
The total store count of the brand has now reached 32. The company has also unveiled its distinctive new positioning with the theme of `Sattvik’. Under this, all equipment and raw material are designed and formulated in India with no import content. The Sattvik theme, stresses the freshness of the product, where even the flavours are preservative free. The range is customised for the Indian palette.
Also, Cocoberry launched a range of low fat ice-creams, the first of its kind in India. Premium ice creams usually have more than 10% fat, but Cocoberry’s low fat ice cream has less than 2.5% fat giving far fewer calories per serving.
Rahul Deans, CEO, Cocoberry, says, “The challenge was to deliver on contradictory objectives. We wanted a premium ice-cream which was low in fat and a long lasting product that was preservative free since Cocoberry is seen as a low calorie frozen dessert which is pure and fresh compared to conventional ice-creams.”
