- Cox and Kings strengthens its franchise network
Cox & Kings Limited, a travel company plans to increase its presence pan India by strengthening its franchise network. Presently, the company has 80 franchisees in the country and aims to open 150 outlets by the end of March 2011.
The company is primarily focusing on the Tier II and III cities such as Ambala, Kurukshetra and Tirupati for its expansion plans.
Karan Anand, Head-Relationships and Supplier Management, Cox & Kings Ltd informs, “The franchise model is an easier growth route as it does not incur any direct investment from the company while expanding its presence in the market. We regularly receive queries from young entrepreneurs wanting to associate with our network.”
Among new destinations, the company will aggressively promote Latin America and Canada to the Indian outbound segment. It is further looking at setting up its office network internationally either through its own setup or through acquisitions.
