Cream Centre, a Mumbai based chain of vegetarian restaurant is planning to expand pan-India via franchising, confirms a company’s official. The company has 20 franchise restaurants in pipeline that are expected to be operational within this fiscal year.
Presently, the company is operating through eight restaurants in various cities of the nation, of which two are company owned restaurants situated in Mumbai. The company is now targeting the cities like Guwahati, Mumbai, Kochi, Patna, Surat, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai and so on to open more franchise restaurants.
Earlier, the company had a JV with Pan India Foods, the Pantaloon Group-controlled restaurant chain and has recently exited it. Cream Centre has now revamped its license to go solo with its plans of expanding nationally.
