- CureFit acquires Kristy'a Kitchen foar an undisclosed amount
Bangalore-based Kristy’s Kitchen has been acquired by Healthcare and Fitness startup, CureFit for an undisclosed amount in cash and stock deal.
This acquisition extends operations for the early venture along with broadening its spectrum of services.
The startup provides its customers with delicious healthy food, prepared by 5-star chefs and delivered straight to your home in the city.
The company claims to serve over 250 orders every day and to be operationally cash positive.
Cristina Maiorescu, Founder of Kristy’s Kitchen, said, "We believe we have developed a great product that now will be taken to scale with the help of CureFit. Both companies values and long-term vision are in sync."
Following the acquisition, Cristina, Cedric and the entire team will also join the CureFit’s team.
Ankit Nagori, Co-founder of CureFit said, "Healthcare can be broadly divided into prevention and cure. For the first few years we will be focusing on the prevention part of healthcare and later we’ll pursue the cure side. Prevention has four important parts: eating healthy, active lifestyle, mental wellness and regular health check-ups. We will be launching fitness, mental wellness DIY (do-it-yourself) packs of yoga, meditation, and food."
