Personal care firm Dabur has acquired South African personal care companies D and A cosmetics and Atlanta Body & Health Products, the company said in a BSE announcement.
The deal size is estimated at Rs 25 crore, an official involved with the development said.
The acquisition has been made by Dabur South Africa.
Last year in November, Dabur had acquired another South African firm
CTL Group of Companies to buy out its personal and hair care business for US $ 1.5 Million.
The acquisition marked Dabur’s foray into the burgeoning South African personal care market.
Dabur South Africa (Pty) is wholly-owned subsidiary of Dabur International Ltd.
