Desi Belle mulls expansion via franchise route

With the Future Group holding 27 percent stake in the company, women’s wear brand Desi Belle from Re-Source World Exim is set to spread its wings via franchise. The company plans to open EBOs in the next two years. The company plans to open 10- 15 stores and majority of them through franchise route.

Pushkar Goyal, COO, Re-Source World Exim says: “We have made a dent in this segment in the span of a year. Six months ago, we were only in Central. Now we are in Reliance Trends and soon we will be in other leading large format stores. We also plan to roll out 10-15 EBOs in the next two years. We will expand our pan India footprint starting with metros followed by tier II cities like Solapur, Sangli and Bhubaneshwar, where there is a lot of business potential."

Brand Desi Belle is known for its Indo-western fusion range. The brand is constantly inspired to explore new trends and ideas. These inspirations are brought to life by the factory which houses an array of sophisticated machinery that helps a thousand hands in the elaborate process of building high quality products piece by piece. The brand has more than 20,000 patterns in-house and plans to roll out another 20,000 in the next six month.
