As a part of its offline retail expansion plan, Detel, value for money consumer brand, is looking at targeting 500 franchise partners by 2021. The company is eyeing those franchise partners who are willing to venture into the electric vehicle Industry.
Detel EV will be strengthening its presence across India in a bid to reach out to its customers in Tier 1, 2 and 3 cities. The company will provide Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) Model to its franchise partners.
Detel is further planning to completely localize its EV Products, making it a fully made-in-India product.
In August, Detel has introduced its first World Most Economical Two-Wheeler EV in the Indian Market at Rs 19,999. This newly-launched two-wheeler electric vehicle is powered by a 250-watt electric motor, providing a top speed of 25 kph.
Yogesh Bhatia, Founder & CEO, Detel, told a leading media organization, “By the year 2021, we are planning to expand our offline market reach to tap on the growing EV market in India. I see this happening positively as we have got an overwhelming response for our 1st EV from not just from customers but also from the dealers across the country.”
