Australia’s most premium coffee chain – Di Bella Coffee, which began its India operations last year, is now planning to launch two new franchise stores in Mumbai and Dehradun soon. Currently, Di Bella Coffee has over 1,200 retail and wholesale outlets globally serving more than 2.4 million cups of coffee per week.
Commenting on the future plans, Sachin Sabharwal, MD, Di Bella Coffee India says: “Di Bella Coffee has expanded its operations into India and intends to further increase its presence through an exclusive franchise proposition. We invite select investors who understand the agenda of our company to join us in our venture. Both the upcoming franchise outlets will be owned and run by young professionals.”
For opening Di Bella coffee franchise, an investment of Rs 25-50 lakh and an area of 600-1,200 sq. ft will be required. Di Bella aims to make its presence across most of tier I and II cities. The brand plans to open at least 10 outlets by end of 2013. The brand will be tapping Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Ahmadabad for further expansion.
