- Diya plans expansion via franchising
Diya, the fashion brand from the house of Gitanjali, is planning for pan India expansion. The brand is looking to extend its retail footprints in A, B, C class cities across the country. For opening Diya’s franchised outlet, the prospective franchisee would require an investment of Rs 25 lakh and more along with retail space of 500 sq ft.
Presently, the brand has 16 stores, of which one is company-owned and rest are franchised locations. The brand combines India’s rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship with western designs to create global collections. The designing is based on Indian and western culture that brings out the best of value added prêt lines which are cosmopolitan. The fashionable and trendy embroideries give an ethnic look to brand’s apparels.
