Dr Batra’s to expand in UK, GCC countries

Dr Batra’s Positive Health Clinic Pvt Ltd is focusing on international expansion in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the UK. Other than India, the renowned homeopathy brand presently has two clinics in London, three in Dubai and one in Dhaka. It runs 219 centres world over. Of the total centres, 62 are franchise and 157 are company-owned ones.

“We have received good response from the UAE and the UK. Our expansion is mainly focused on GCC countries and the UK. We are planning to aggressively penetrate into international market through franchising. We are flexible in business model depending on the business laws of the respective country and mutual understanding between us and franchisee. Presently, we operate on Franchise Owned Franchise Operated (FOFO) model in Bangladesh,” says Sandeep Saxena, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Batra's Group of Companies.

Dr Mukesh Batra, India’s leading homeopath, founded Dr Batra’s Positive Health Clinic Pvt Ltd as a patient-driven institution in Mumbai in 1982. From a single-doctor clinic in Mumbai, it is today a chain of a large number of clinics.
