Ebony Gautier to open new stores

Ebony Gautier, the master franchisee of France-based furniture brand Gautier, is set to expand its retail business in India. Presently, Ebony Gautier which is fully owned by Ebony Homes operates brand’s seven stores in the country. The brand has presence across cities such as Mumbai, Noida, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Faridabad. Now, the company is looking at eight to nine stores before the end of the current financial year and plans to add another four to five during the next year, subject to availability of the right place at the right rental. The company is targeting cities like Pune and Amritsar and also evaluating locations in Lucknow, Jaipur and Kolkata for the new openings. The new store could spread across 7,000-11,000 sq. ft.

Ebony Gautier which partnered with French furniture major five-year ago, with an average annual growth of 43-44 per cent, aims to have revenue of Rs 100 crore in two years. In future, it would also like to establish own manufacturing facility for producing brand’s products.
