Edify Education has announced the launch of Edify Schools through the franchise way and plans to come up with 50 schools pan India by 2015. The company has combined the best teaching techniques and practices of CBSE and other global orientations to provide ‘international’ education at an inexpensive fee. The school shall commence operations of five schools in Nagpur, Amravati, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Ranipet (Tamil Nadu) this year and add 10 schools thereafter every year. All these campuses are well planned with temperature controlled classrooms, and all other facilities like swimming pool, skating ring, student performance tracking software, smart boards, fully equipped library etc.
Speaking during the launch, Kavita, VP, Edify Education said, “Our vision is to foster a society of individuals capable of thinking progressively, creating and initiating positive change in the social, economic and cultural fabric; to impact the global community through knowledge, understanding and attitude.”
These schools will run on the 3-C philosophy of character, competence and content. The evaluation process in these schools will also be skill based and will assess the child’s ability to conceptualise, process information and apply the same in a creative manner.
Commenting on his new venture, AK Agarwal said, “There is a huge demand and supply gap for quality education at affordable prices. Edify Education is launched to tap this demand. Edify will provide top quality education with global orientation pan-India and will be in easy access to even middle class families”.
