Educomp to rollout 100 schools

Educomp Infrastructure and School Management (EISML), a subsidiary of Educomp Solutions Limited (ESL), plans to rollout 100 new schools across the country in next couple of years. For this the company plans an investment of around Rs 1,500 crore. The expansion will be done via franchise route.

Presently, the company operates 56 schools under three brands-The Millennium School, Takshila and Universal Academy. The Millenium School targets at tier I and big cities, whereas Takshila and Universal Academy will open in smaller cities.

The company will enter into agreements with real estate owners and developers where infrastructure (land and building) would be owned by someone else for expansion..
