energie plans Indian foray

énergie Fitness Group, the UK based wellness brand founded and headed by Jan Spaticchia, is looking for expansion in India via franchise route. At present, the company has total of 90 franchisees across the globe and plans to add more.

The company has recently opened its first Middle Eastern club in Doha and plans to open some more. In 2009, the company opened 36 health club franchises and was ranked third in the league of gym businesses in the UK. The secret behind energie's rapid expansion is that it targets a different customer segment.

The company already has clubs operating in Qatar, Latvia, and Egypt as well as in the UK and Ireland.
