- Falafel’s to set up 10-15 more stores by 2016 end
“In the first two years, we are focusing on Mumbai and Bangalore for expansion and then we will look at Hyderabad, Pune and other tier-I and II cities. Some of these outlets will be company-owned and some will be franchise-owned. All the outlets will be of 400-500 sq. ft with the investment of Rs 20 to 30 lakh per outlet. We have mall model and stand alone model of outlets with central kitchen in suburban part of Mumbai. Couple of our outlets are standalone,” says Dhaval Udeshi, Brand Head of the company.
He feels awareness of falafel has been growing across the country which is resulting into Lebanese restaurants opening at every corner of the city like Mumbai. And which is why its brand at locations like Phoenix mall across Mumbai is doing well. The brand has introduced Lebanese cuisines with Indian taste. It has introduced a spanking new veg and non-veg menu of Lebanese cuisine with this outlet.
