Having achieved a target of setting up 100 offline stores in 2014, Firstcry.com an online kids retail portal is now craving for more. The brand has set its sight on doubling its store count to 200 by December 2015.

Having achieved a target of setting up 100 offline stores in 2014, Firstcry.com, an online kids retail portal is now craving for more. The brand has set its sight on doubling its store count to 200 by December 2015.

Supam Maheshwari, CEO & Founder, Firstcry.com told Franchise India, “With 100 stores, we have crossed a major milestone but we have considerable distance yet to travel. With the omni-channel strategy in full swing, we believe in creating a seamless experience, offering purchasing flexibility for parents through the mobile, web and offline store formats. 2014 for us has been a great year and by December 2015, we plan to open 100 new stores.”

 

The brand has chalked out its market strategy in view of its plans. “Integrating offline with online or using technology to make offline more efficient will be a key trend and we are working towards the same. A personalised or ‘for me’ experience will also become more and more important with time to gain the customer’s loyalty. Smartphone usage is on the increase and using the mobile for location based services will become a key business driver in 2015,” Supam Maheshwari said further. 

Firstcry.com offers range of products for babies, kids and moms and has an inventory of more than 70,000 items from over 600 top international and Indian brands.
