FirstCry ropes in XpressBees, offers delivery same day

Taking a step further to make parenting easy and boost its delivery system, FirstCry, a kids’ retail brand, has introduced ‘same day’ and ‘next day delivery’ services in 75 cities across India. The brand has started the same day delivery in 15 cities and next day delivery in 60 cities.

The Valiant Capital and IDG-backed company has roped in logistics player XpressBees to launch the service. FirstCry has a large variety of products that parents can buy under this delivery service. The service majorly covers all the baby and kids essentials that are required on a day-to-day basis by mothers including lotion, shampoo, diaper.

Speaking on the new business development, Supam Maheshwari, CEO and founder, FirstCry.com, says, “We are glad to announce this new service for our customers which is absolutely free of cost. We aim to provide our customers with unparalleled shopping experience with wide range of products and fastest delivery mechanism through innovative supply chain solutions. It’s been our endeavour to make shopping for kids an easy and effortless job for parents.”

With this, a parent can order before 12 noon and expect to have the delivery same day itself across all major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad. Next day delivery cut off time varies from city to city. For example NDD cut off time in Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Bhubneshwar and Cuttack is 1pm and that in Salem, Tirupur, Erode, Trichy and Pondichery, Baroda will be 5pm.
