- Five Star Chicken aims to add 50 outlets
Thailand-based Five Star Chicken, a food brand of The Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), is planning to expand its franchise network across the country.
For opening brand’s outlet, the company is looking for enterprising individuals with vast or no experience in food retailing. The business venture requires an investment of Rs 5-6 lakh along with an area of 80-200 sq.ft. Presently, the brand is operating 18 outlets, of which 13 are franchise owned.
Talking about brand’s future plans, Sanjeev Pant, Vice-President, Charoen Pokphand (India) Pvt Ltd, says: “We are planning to open 50 outlets by this year end. To extend our footprints further, we will be targeting tier I and II cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Cochin, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerela.”
The company is strongly committed to meet consumer’s demand and satisfaction by adding more value to create ready meal products in several menus to serve customer specifications and to bring more opportunity to purchase.
