Five Star Chicken by Thai multi-national conglomerate CP Foods has opened its newest stores in Pune and Mumbai making it a total of 319 outlets operating in India. The brand is present across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Pune and Mumbai.
“We are growing steadily in metros as well as in smaller towns via the franchising route. This opens exciting opportunities for franchise partners in all these regions. The investment required is low thus it opens opportunities for many people to become business owners to supplement their income,” says Sanjeev Pant, Senior Vice President, CP Foods.
The brand has a plan to open around 100 to 150 outlets by this year end with expansion in sight in south India followed by west. The chicken brand is one of the most popular brands in Asia with presence in nine countries and more than 7000 outlets in Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, China, Bangladesh and India. In India, Five Star Chicken launched its first outlet in November 2012 in Bangalore.
