- FMCG major P&G leads 'Employee Health and Wellness' ranking list
FMCG major Procter and Gamble (P&G) ranks first as India’s best company in terms of 'Employee Health and Wellness', according to a PTI report.
The list has been released by Chestnut Global Partners (CGP) India, a provider of Employee Assistance Programmes, in partnership with Society for Human Resources Management India (SHRM).
The ranking list has been made to applaud the initiatives undertaken by big organisations in integrating and driving meaningful platforms, making health and wellness an inclusive program for its workforce.
Talking about the same, Nobby Nazareth, Managing Director, Chestnut Global Partners India told PTI: "We believe that strategically planned roadmap when executed by organisations can go a long way in creating an ecosystem that allows employees to experience a work-life balance and being healthy at work."
Reportedly, in the ranking list, Citigroup steals the second position, while SAP Labs India takes the third position.
Speaking on the same lines, Achal Khanna, CEO, SHRM India told PTI: "Health & Wellness is now at the core of employee initiatives, with corporate generously allocating a large part of HR budgets and time towards this area.”
Others in the top ten rankings include Hewlett Packard India at fourth, Happiest Minds Technologies at fifth, Tech Mahindra at sixth, Visual IQ at seventh, Multi Screen Media at eighth, Fiserv at ninth and Atul Ltd at tenth position.
Highlighting the methodology applied for ranking companies in the list, the report states that the list features companies with workforce ranging from 150 to 73,000. Also, the participating companies are assessed and evaluated on the basis of their standalone and integrated health and wellness initiatives undertaken.
