
Fossil Group, an US-based luxury watch maker Fossil ventured into Indian wearable device market, has decide to open six stores more by the end of next year.
In the aim of wondering the youth, it has launched a range of connected devices across all its six owned and licensed brands Fossil Q, Michael Kors Connected, Skagen Connected, Chaps, Emporio Armani and Misfit.
The company has spread its roots already in the leading markets of Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Malaysia, representing its wide range of wearable devices, to which it claims to have gathered great responses.
The company runs nine other brands in India such as Fossil, Diesel, Misfit, Emporio Armani, DKNY, Michael Kors and Armani Exchange.
APAC Jack Quinlan, Fossil Group Senior Vice-President is on the steps of creating Smartwatches, which constitutes 40 percent of their product by the end of 2016. With the launch of new range he is planning to capture the maximum share in the market. Noticing the change in era to digital technology, he aims to sets a bench mark in the field of creating Smartwatches.
