Prior to the award session, a panel discussion on various issues in electric vehicles was organised which was participated by prominent brands including JBM, Omega Seiki Mobility, Marposs India, and Federation of Electric Vehicle Association.

Franchise India Holdings on Tuesday organised the India EV Awards at Pullman Hotel in New Delhi to felicitate emerging and well established companies which are into manufacturing of electric vehicles or its parts.

The show was attended by various people from the entire ecosystem of the electric vehicles including, PorVent, Greenfuel Energy Solutions, Terra Motors Charging Solutions Private Limited, Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, Zyngo EV Mobility Pvt. Ltd. and Log9 Materials.

Prior to the awards session, a panel discussion on various issues in electric vehicles was organised which was participated by prominent names including Manoj Gupta, Business Lead, e-mobility, JBM, Uday Narang, Chairman, Omega Seiki Mobility, Luca Matteucci, Managing Director, Marposs India,  and Akihiro Ueda, CEO, Terra Motors,  Dr SK Saroj, Federation of Electric Vehicle Association. The panel was moderated by Sikander Singh, Associate Vice President, Charge Zone.

The discussion was held upon various matters prevalent in the electric vehicles sector including, Environmental Impact, Infrastructure and Charging, Market Adoption and Consumer Perception, Technological Advancements, Technological Advancements, Policy and Regulation.

Following Were The Talks Points:

Under Environmental Impact, the panellists discussed the environmental benefits of EVs, such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions and improved air quality and explored the challenges and opportunities for making EVs even more sustainable, including the sourcing of materials for batteries and electricity generation.

They also deliberated upon the infrastructure and charging and mentioned the current state of EV charging infrastructure and the need for expansion. They considered the role of government incentives and private investment in building a robust charging network accessible to all.

Looking at the market adoption and consumer perception they examined the factors influencing consumer adoption of EVs, including affordability, range anxiety, and misconceptions. They also discussed strategies for increasing EV market share and changing public perception.

The Panellists also explored the latest advancements in EV technology, such as battery innovations, autonomous driving capabilities, and connectivity features and discussed how these advancements impact the EV industry and its future under technological advancements.

Talking about the technological advancements and, policy and regulation, they considered the role of international agreements in shaping the global EV landscape while analysing government policies and regulations affecting the EV industry, including incentives, emissions standards, and infrastructure development.
