Franchise UAE 2011, an International Franchise, Retail and Business opportunity show held at Business Village, Deira, Dubai from April 14th-16th has wrapped up successfully.

Franchise UAE 2011, an International Franchise, Retail and Business opportunity show held at Business Village, Deira, Dubai from April 14th-16th has wrapped up successfully. The event organised by Franchise Middle East, a part of the Franchise India Group in partnership with Dubai SME received enthusiastic response from the participants. The show got able support of Dubai SME, the agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED) authorised to develop the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector.

Elaborating further, Gaurav Marya, Managing Director, Franchise Middle East said, “This initiative aims to promote the franchise sector as one of the fastest growing economic sector that offers one of the biggest sources of new business opportunities and employment. Franchise UAE 2011, acts as an interesting platform for Indian and international franchise brands looking to gain their traction in Middle East without the risk and significant capital investment. The Exhibition puts forth a spectrum of opportunities in franchising, retailing, licensing, real estate and retail supply and highlight investment and business avenues open to entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises." 

The show realised its objective of bringing an unconventional opportunity for franchisors to extend their footprint in the Middle East. It provided potential opportunity for the franchisors to network with prospective entrepreneurs and investors in the region. Also, the exhibition exclusively catered to the MBRE SME members to network with multi brand owners who patronise the Show. Franchise UAE 2011 achieved its aim of extending a platform for new entrepreneurs, budding enterprises and established small and medium enterprises seeking new business destinations, business alliances and strategic associations in Middle East.

His Excellency Abdul Basit Al Janahi, CEO of Dubai SME commented, "Young Entrepreneurs play a pivotal role in building the society and its development process. We were delighted to participate in this networking forum which represents a platform to meet the establishments that promote the SMEs and encourage the growth and development of the franchise sector within the Middle East. Moreover, the Entrepreneurship Summit 2011 highlighted the need to create regional collaboration networking and entrepreneurship development between India and Middle East.
