French chain of salon and spa Jean-Claude Biguine,with its flagship store in Mumbai has formed a partnership with the Indian retail giant Aditya Birla Group to support its aggressive expansion plans through the group’s latest luxury retail foray – The Collective. The beauty industry is all set to open their first salon in Bangalore and planning to open 30-40 stand-alone stores across India in the next five years. Having presence in across 17 countries with 350 salons and spas, Biguine beauty house will set up their presence in Delhi followed by yet another salon in Mumbai, after its Bangalore launch. Internationally, Jean-Claude Beguine’s beauty outlet caters to an average of 20,000 customers per month. The beauty outlet will be a destination for a complete head-to-toe grooming services at The Collective. Commenting on the nature of partnership, Dharmendra Manwani, CEO, Jean-Claude Biguine says, “Jean-Claude Biguine has tied up with Aditya Birla’s new retail foray- The Collective. Jean- Claude Biguine will expand its chain of salon with The Collective and partner with the Birla group. Aditya Birla group plans to open 12-15 Collective stores in the next three years. Jean Claude Biguine will be part of these stores under mutually beneficial partnership deal”. “Biguine plans to expand through their stand alone salons across all the metros and mini metros in India” he continues further.
