Gloria Jean’s in an expansion mode

Gloria Jean’s, an Australia based coffee chain is planning to expand its presence in India. The company has plans to open 30 more franchise outlets by the end of 2012. The brand is catering to cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi and Tier II cities such as Chandigarh, Jaipur and Pune.

Citymax India, a part of Dubai-based global retail giant Landmark Group, is the master franchisee for Gloria Jean’s in India. It brought the brand to India in 2008 and since then has opened 20 Gloria Jean’s outlets across the country.

Presently, the company has over 1,000 stores across 39 counties worldwide, 480 of which are opened in Australia.
