Grid Bots plans franchise expansion

Grid Bots, Ahmedabad based manufacturing company of robotic products, is all set to launch 85 franchised outlets by the end of this fiscal year, confirms a company official. The company is targeting the major metro cities to showcase its entire range of robots.

Presently, the company is operating through 15 franchised outlets in cities like Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chennai, and Rajkot. The company is planning to set up robotic laboratories in schools and engineering colleges and is also offering course material for starting robotics in schools or colleges.

The concept of robot retail stores is new in India but the rising usage of technologies is rapidly drawing the attention of people towards this area. Grid Bots manufactures robots that are capable of cleaning large tanks of industrial units.

The company has recently created a robot, which is customised for performing jobs in hospitality industry.
