Groom India Salon & Spa, which owns Naturals and Page 3, is coming up with its new brand 'Star Cuts.'
With an eye on tapping the unorganised neighbourhood salons, the new brand 'Star Cuts' is presently under a trial run in Coimbatore. CK Kumaravel, CEO & Co-founder of Naturals, says the new brand is currently running on a trial at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu with two stores and this will be expanded in the next six months. On its expansion plan, Kumaravel further says the company will soon take the franchise route for Star Cuts. The company will tap tier-II, III towns across the country, besides metros.
The salons will be opened at places including, colleges, airports, offices, organised super markets. The company also hopes to have 25 ‘Page 3’ stores from present four in the next three years. Under the Naturals brand, it is also eyeing to open 100 stores in foreign countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in the next three years.
Back home, South India fame brand Naturals Salon and Spa has planned to open as many as 3000 salons in the country by 2020. The brand also wants to create 1000 women entrepreneurs besides providing 50,000 in the field by 2020.
