- Happily Unmarried announces its expansion plan on a happy note
Happily Unmarried, a youth lifestyle brand is all set to expand its presence by opening 12 more stores this financial year. Presently, the brand has 12 stores. Out of these, four are franchise stores. The brand started franchising in 2014. It is currently present in 17 cities across India through 12 Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) and about 60 Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs). With a vision to expand its base, it has plans to open 12 new stores per annum.
Happily Unmarried started retailing through an offline store. It has plans to expand its online business as well and continue to grow its offline stores as well. Sharing details about of the brand’s USP and the industry, Rajat Tuli, Co-founder and Director Happily Unmarried says, “Our products make you smile. Our products are centred around ‘desi cool merchandise trend’ that has gained popularity over the last couple of years. Specialty retail in India is growing and will experience double digit growth over the next decade.”
Happily Unmarried was established in 2003. The brand is one of the pioneers in specialty retail segment known for its fun products. It has a miscellaneous work portfolio. It does music festivals, works with corporate sector when they want to do some interesting work and lately it has been doing a lot of projects involving branding, communication, interiors, marketing all rolled into one. “With M-commerce taking the lead, we will launch an exclusive retail app for Happily Unmarried. It should be out in July,” adds Tuli.
