- HDFC Bank plans to open 100 more branches in Northeast
As part of its expansion plan, HDFC Bank is planning to start 100 more branches in the northeast region in the next three years. With the opening of 100 more branches in the Northeast, the bank will take its branch network close to 230 in the next three years.
The bank is further eyeing to double the number of its branches in Sikkim to 18.
HDFC Bank began its operations in the Northeast in 2004. As of December 31, 2018, the network of the bank in the region comprised 126 branches and 203 ATMs.
