- Healthcare startup BeYouPlus secures $3.2 mn funding to expand its presence
Healthcare startup BeYouPlus has raised $3.2 million in funding led by IvyCap Ventures. The round has also seen participation from Madison Capital and Singapore Angel Network.
The fresh capital will be utilized by the company to expand its dermatology treatments across 15-20 cities in the next 18 months. BeYouPlus also wants to build out a standardized distributed model for day care and elective medical procedures in India.
The Delhi-based startup aims to standardise beauty treatments by partnering with local clinics.
Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Director, IvyCap Ventures, said, “Dermatology clinics are today okay with having someone else manage treatments on their premises. Rather than having to incur high costs for devices, this becomes a revenue stream for them. It’s similar to an Oyo model, even if that’s an overused term today.”
In the coming years, BeYouPlus is targeting to venture into other areas, like gastroenterology or gynaecology.
Besides running the procedure rooms at local clinics, the startup also has an online platform to bring customers into these clinics.
