Founded by Shashank ND and Abhinav Lal in 2008, Practo operates as a marketplace model to offer multiple services to users ranging from finding the healthcare provider to booking an appointment, online doctor consultation, getting their tests done and ordering medicines.

Practo further makes software products for helping healthcare providers in digitising their hospitals and clinics.

The company is claiming to have a presence in 15 countries. Practo enables 50 million appointments a year and declares to have 100,000 healthcare providers on-board.
