Education plays a vital role in forming an individual’s life. It not only imparts knowledge but also empowers the citizen of this nation to know about their rights, eradicate poverty and helps in boosting the economic growth of the country.

India is a developing country and education of both men & women is essential for its growth, but the rate of women’s literacy in India is very low. The world average female literacy rate is 79.7%, while in India the average rate is 65.46%. The government of India has taken different initiatives for improvement in girls’ education.

For improving the girls’ education, many businesses have taken different initiatives. Some of them have signed a pact with various organisations and the government. Here are some of them listed:

It has become essential for every student to have the skill to work with modern technologies in order to sustain in today’s highly competitive employment market.

This pact not only aims to educate a girl child but also prepare them for the future. It will use digital media and tech to sensitise communities and girls about gender roles and health and hygiene services, and train teachers and frontline health workers to improve services for girls.
