Laksh staffing solution with its aim to provide value added HR services across different sectors is gaining prominence through the franchise route. Vishal Gulati, CEO, Laksh Staffing Solution, shares the success story of the company.
Tirumala Santra Mandal (TSM): Brief us about the inception of Laksh Staffing Solution.
Vishal Gulati (VG): Laksh Staffing Solutions Pvt. Ltd is an integrated HR solutions company established in 2003. Laksh is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Lakshya’, meaning ‘the Aim’. It represents the mission of the company to help its clients reach their aim by getting the right people, processes, and prospects together profitably and help individuals attain the right opportunities to develop their full potential. Laksh's vision is to be the leading player in the HR space across the world.
TSM: When did the company start franchising? What inspired the company to take up the franchise route?
VG: We have always felt the dearth of quality in terms of matching the profile of right individual with the right job, especially in Tier II cities. Keeping the above objective in mind, Laksh initiated the franchising model in January 2008 with just one franchise at Allahabad. As this was the pilot centre for us, we wanted to watch all the operations very closely. After running it successfully for six months, we understood that the company has touched the next orbit and is ready to expand across the country.
TSM: What are the eligibility criteria for taking up the franchise of Laksh Staffing Solution?
VG: The criteria for a perfect franchisee would include:
TSM: How much investment is required to secure the franchise of your company?
VG: A person should have the capacity to make an investment of Rs three to five lakh depending upon the chosen city.
TSM: What kind of training and support does a franchisee get when partnering with your company?
VG: Laksh provides support to the franchise network in form of business processes, access to resume databases, training to BP Employees, web presence, back office operations, operational processes, marketing support (in terms of access to speakers for events, tie ups) , technical support for database management.
TSM: What kind of location is apt for opening such institutes? Do you help your franchisees in negotiating the right location?
VG: Any tier II city (few exceptions) in India where we don’t have our centre is suitable for taking up the franchise. Yes, we do counsel the franchise to take up the right location.
TSM: How many total centres do you have at present?
VG: Laksh have nine franchisees and three company owned units.
TSM: What are the future plans of the company in terms of expansion through franchising?
VG: Ourcompany has plans to reach out to all the Tier II locations, which will help both the company and candidates to find the right match. Laksh is targeting to open 100 centers by 2011.
