- Huge Need Of Indian Schools To Be Taken To The World: 21K School
India is a middle class country with many challenges and these challenges are opportunity for every entrepreneur so the responsibility is to train our young ones to address these challenges, said Dr. Anna Maria Noronha Principal, Orchids The International School.
Maria was speaking at the Education Innovation and Investment Summit, held in Bengaluru on February 3. She said, “Pandemic was a situation and as educationist we all went through it and overnight we had to train all our staff to move from classroom mode to only a screen mode. It was a collaborative learning which made it more effective.”
Speaking on the challenges in the education industry, Gur Serai, Co-Chair, Satluj Group said that we are not at par with world in terms of B. Ed colleges.
“The teachers who are coming out of the B. Ed Colleges...the B. Ed colleges are not at par as the world expects. The skills are missing. So, we connected to the Punjab University and working in partnership rather upskilling the skills of teacher teaching at the B. Ed colleges. The only way to survive is outward thinking,” Serai added.
Putting his thoughts about the education system in India, Yeshwanth Raj, Co-Founder, 21K Schools said that people from non-English speaking countries have huge respect of Indian education system.
“There is huge need of Indian schools outside of the country. There are lot of entrepreneurs in India who are trying to solve problem but we should also think how to take this education to the world,” he added.
Nafeesa Ahmed, Director, Presidency Group of Institution said that NEP is very well framed and is ambitious. “We are hopeful that we will be able to meet the educational goal that the country has set.”
The Entrepreneur India had concluded the Education and Innovation Summit 2023 in Bengaluru, Karnataka where many industry leaders participated and imparted their knowledge into the vast sector which is witnessing the penetration of technology on a high level, changing the market scenario and competency.
There was also an extensive discussion over various sub sectors in the field of Education of which the most important was early childhood learning.
