IBM Collaborates With PANA Edu To Open Software Tech Lab image
Under the programme, faculty members and students with knowledge and skills will be provided with the experience to develop and deploy applications for Cloud environments, Big Data Analytics and Information Security.

The Mangaluru based learning oriented education centre PANA Education has partnered with IBM to open an IBM Software Lab for Emerging Technologies under its career education programme.

Under the programme, all the faculty members and students with knowledge and skills will be provided with the experience to develop and deploy applications for Cloud environments, Big Data Analytics and Information Security. Besides IBM will facilitate faculty members with the access to incorporate relevant courses offered by IBM Career Education program into their curriculum.

As a part of the collaboration, participants will access IBM Bluemix cloud platform. Bluemix is a platform as a Service (PaaS) offering from IBM based on open standards and cloud to build, deploy, manage and run Omni-channel applications like web and mobile, big data and other smart services. Students will also have additional access to other relevant IBM technology platforms in the areas of Analytics and Security apart from IBM Bluemix platform.

Dr Prasad Hegde, chairman of Pana Education while commenting on the colloboration said," it is a major milestone for the institution in our pursuit for revolutionizing the education sector by providing opportunities to our students to learn latest technologies from a digital leader and thereby become employable from day one."
