A vocational training institute, Institute of Computer Accountants (ICA) plans to open 50 centers in the first quarter of the next financial year. ICA’s job oriented training has partnered with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), in its nation-wide drive to eradicate unemployment by providing skill based training to India’s youth. ICA has more than 200 centers across India.
N.K. Shyamsukha, Founder Chairman of ICA, confirms: “We are planning expansion nationally with more focused approach in Kerala, TamilNadu , Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. There are more than 50 centers coming up in first quarter of the next financial year. Our aim is to empower today’s youth, irrespective of their socio-economic conditions. This public-private collaboration, i.e. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) star project is the perfect platform to connect with the youth from the remotest corner of India and facilitate them with incentives from Govt. This skill development program is benefiting them not only with financial incentives from the Govt but is also helping them to explore their skill-sets and training them in various sectors.”
Currently, ICA is exploring various sectors which offer bigger possibilities of employment. The brand looking for pan-India expansion and is seeking business and execution partners. For city based centers, ICA requires area between 1000-1500 sq. ft. and for taluka based centers, the space requirement is 600-800 sq.ft.
