Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s, Indian Cookery Pvt. Ltd (ICPL) is looking for expansion and targets to reach 100 restaurants by 2012 with an initiative of empowering women entrepreneurs. It has expansion plans with high investment of Rs 100 crore in the coming three years. The company has partnered with Better Value Brands.
Speaking on the occasion Sanjeev Kapoor said, “We would like to play a small role towards empowering women entrepreneurs by making franchises available to them on a special basis this year. Our mission now is to approach dining with the same passion and to leverage our consumer insights to build world class restaurants in India and around the globe.”
The brand has presence in over 12 cities across three countries with 25 restaurants. ICPL will be soon launching number of restaurants Khazana, The Yellow Chilli, Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor all over India based on different themes and cuisine styles. The company will appoint franchisees for Khazana, The Yellow Chilli and Pin Yin Café in 40 selected cities as part of this new initiative to empower women entrepreneurs.
