- IIAS plans franchise expansion
IIAS, a reputed hospitality management institute, plans expansion in various parts of India through franchise route. The expansion is also planned for neighbouring countries like Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh. The company has engaged Francorp a part of Franchise India for its expansion plans.
The first phase of expansion will be aimed at covering eastern, western and northern parts of the country as IIAS has existing centres in Kolkata, Siliguri, Dehradun and Goa. Gradually, it will be extended to other parts of India and abroad.
Abhijit De, Chairman, IIAS says, “ Our initiatives to expand our hospitality institute caters to the needs of flourishing tourism industry in India where global tourists visit for recreation purpose, business travel, and domestic leisure travel that gives boost to the hotel industry.”
IIAS is paving ideal way for tapping burgeoning hospitality activity happening in Tier II cities of India. The institute offers post graduate, graduate and certificate courses in hotel management along with other graduation courses like BBA and BCA. The institute also offer courses in collaboration with Indian and foreign universities.
