- IIT-Hyderabad, MLRIT ink pact for development of research & teaching
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad and MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaborating on teaching and research.
The objective of this MOU is to stimulate and facilitate the development of collaborative and mutually beneficial programmes that serve for technical uplift of the campuses of the two institutions. Both the institutions will share and implement the best practices to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and research.
Sumohana Channappayya, Dean (Research and Development), IIT Hyderabad, said, "The MoU will seek to promote mutual intellectual growth and collaborative research of original technological solutions through faculty development programs, guest lectures, and conferences."
Dr K Srinivas Rao, Principal of MLRIT, stated, "We hope the MoU would help in achieving excellence and high-quality standards in the Institute’s Research and Academic programs of engineering. Signing a MoU with a premier institution like IITH is an important milestone for us."
Dr Karthik Rajendra, Dean (Research & Development), MLRIT, added, "We expect this strong collaboration to produce accelerated outcomes that benefit both our institutions."
