Global home furnishings retailer IKEA is expected to open its first India outlet in Hyderabad in October or November 2017.
Hyderabad is the first city where the Swedish furnishing company had bought land for setting up its first store. However, the firm is also looking at sites in other cities in parallel and looks forward to be able to opening many more outlets in Delhi and NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Inter IKEA Systems BV is owned by Inter IKEA Systems Holding BV and is a company within the Franchise Division of Inter IKEA Group. The Franchise Division also includes service companies and companies selling IKEA products to franchisees on certain markets.
