Indian Education Congress 2011 is India’s biggest forum for the Business of Education organised by Franchise India in support with Indian Franchise Association (IFA) and KPMG. The event is scheduled from April 22 to 23, 2011, at Hotel Claridges, Surajkund, New Delhi.
Indian Education Congress is an initiative of Franchise India that recognises the need to think more boldly and broadly on how to strengthen and expand their existing initiatives. Gaurav Marya, President, Franchise India said, “The government's education expenditure as a percentage of GDP is about five per cent and the consumption trends predict that the urban Indian is spending nine per cent of his wallet on education while the rural consumer spends only six per cent. In view of huge requirements for infrastructure and manpower in the field, even if the government takes up the supply challenge, the time frame will exceed the youthfulness of our population.”
The Indian Education Congress 2011 is a platform to bring together key policy makers, educationists and corporate at both national and international level for deliberations and interactions that would lead to share learning and knowledge, draw attention to best practices and promote innovation in the field of education. It would consist of formal presentations, panel debates, round tables and personal meetings, exchange of ideas and opportunities within the area of growing Indian education sector.
