Italian skincare firm, Officina Farmaceutica Italiana (OFI), which sells its products under Bottega di LungaVita brand, is planning to launch its prescription range of products across the country next year while it continues to increase its points of sale

Italian skincare firm, Officina Farmaceutica Italiana (OFI), which sells its products under Bottega di LungaVita brand, is planning to launch its prescription range of products across the country next year while it continues to increase its points of sale.

"We have launched our prescription range of products under Cosmida brand, on a pilot basis with a few select doctors. Our focus next year will be to launch it across India. Next year we will also work on increasing our points of sale in the country," Alberto Donati, President, OFI told PTI.

"At present, we have 120 points of sale spread across North and East India. We will open 80 more points of sale. We plan to expand it in West and South India next year," said Arjun Khurana, Managing Director, OFI India.

The company's points of sale include flagship stores and shop-in-shops at malls, spa and hotels.

Bottega di LungaVita, which sells the same products across all its markets, offers products catering to baby, mother, skincare, perfumes and personal care. Its products are made in Italy and imported in the country. The brand entered India in 2013. It sells products in over 100 countries.
