- Italian Coffee brand steams into India
Caffe Pascucci, the international Italian coffee giant recently announced its foray into India with the launch of its first coffee outlet `Caffe Pascucci Shop` in Bengaluru in an alliance with Madhura Beverages India Pvt Ltd, the master franchisee for India. Madhura Beverages is part of the Madhura Group, a Rs 300 crore diversified business group, headquartered at Bengaluru. “Madhura Beverages would be investing approximately Rs 60 crores over the next 3 years in setting up 60 outlets across India. We want to make a strong base in Bengaluru first and will then spread our wings across the country,” said, Dr. V. S. Sudhakar, Managing Director, Madhura Beverages India Pvt Ltd.. Targeting at opening 10 outlets in Bengaluru initially and the remaining 50 across the other cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. The company would be having both directly owned stores as well as franchisee outlets, he added. Presently, Caffe Pascucci has around 100 outlets in about 20 countries across the world, including South Korea, China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. After opening their first outlet at M G road in Bengaluru, Madhura Beverages has already booked four other locations in the city in Indiranagar, Jayanagar, Koramangala and Malleshwaram. “The key factor which differentiates a Caffe Pascucci Coffee Shop from other coffee chains in India is – the usage of all the ingredients for making coffee and other eatables are imported from Italy. One can enjoy the whiff of Italian coffee sitting in India,” says, Sudhakar. We are delighted to be partnering with one of the best and renowned coffee chains and on their foray into India, he added.
