ITC Ltd, a diversified business group is planning to launch 25 specialty stores across the nation in the next 15 months. Out of these, 15 stores will be franchised and rest of them will be company owned outlets.
The company also has plans to experiment with new formats for its apparel retail chain ‘Wills Lifestyle’ and is also looking at setting up high-end boutique stores at the five-star hotels to cater to higher-end consumers. Recently, the company has opened a specialty store in Chennai to sell only menswear.
Presently, ITC Ltd is operating through a total of 75 stores in 40 cities of the nation, out of which 15 are franchised.
