- JNU's Special Centre for E-learning to offer Sanskrit, Pali courses online
In order to reach out to the wider public across India, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has approved the proposal for the launch of three language courses, including Pali and Sanskrit, in online mode. The proposal has been approved by the Academic Council of JNU.
The three language courses will be M.A. (Sanskrit), Certificate of Proficiency in Computational Linguistics and Certificate of Proficiency in Pali. All the courses will be offered by the newly opened Special Centre for E-learning at the varsity.
Special Centre for E-Learning has been created by JNU with an aim to offer Certificate, Skill Development and degree programmes in an online format in different subjects.
The university said, "JNU is working on developing more such online courses in the near future to make high quality higher education available in JNU to students across the country."
