Kaati Zone, a quick service restaurant chain is looking at rolling out 100 outlets in the southern region of India by March 2011, confirms Kiran Nadkarni, CEO, Kaati Zone. This expansion will be a mix of both company owned and franchised outlets in various formats such as restaurants, food court counters, and kiosks.
At present, the company is focusing on states like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, followed by pan-India expansion. Along with this, Kaati Zone is also considering overseas expansion.
Presently, the company is operating through 14 company owned outlets and one franchised outlet in Bengaluru. The company is soon going to launch one franchised outlet in Chennai in August 2010 and one in Hyderabad in September 2010. Further, Kaati Zone intends to open around 25 franchised outlets by the end of this year.
