- KFC north zone outlets to reopen soon, new franchisee takes over operations
Majority of the outlets of the QSR brand KFC have been non-operational in the North zone of India- Chandigarh, few parts of Delhi, Mohali and Panchkula. It is heard that the long shut outlets will re-open soon as there is a change in the management for the region.
A source from the brand on the request of not revealing the name informed Franchise India: “Yes, it is true that the outlets have been shut down from a long time. Earlier A.N Traders Pvt Ltd was operating the outlets for KFC in the region but now franchisee for this region is Sapphire Foods India Pvt Ltd who will be taking over operations part.”
A N Traders Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1994 and is based in New Delhi, India.As per a recent development, Sapphire Foods India Private Limited had last month acquired Dodsal Hospitality Private Limited from the Dubai-based Dodsal Group. Dodsal Hospitality has the exclusive rights to operate Pizza Hut in South and West India, and it operates 81 Pizza Hut outlets across 8 states. This transaction has resulted in Sapphire Foods India Private Limited becoming one of the largest owners of the Pizza Hut franchise in India. The deal was closed on September 15, 2015.
